In the world of fantasy football, we'd all love to have the likes of Ronaldo, Fabregas, Drogba and Torres in our teams. But there's always that nasty transfer budget lurking around the next corner, waiting to pounce and tell you that you only have enough money left for Titus Bramble.
Because of this, we've compiled a list of the players who have the most points per million pounds, and so FF fans everywhere can become more economical, and realise that it's not really worth splashing out £15m on a certain Wayne Rooney (he made it to 196th on our list).
Points Per Million Pounds (PMP) were calcuted from the comprehensive Fantasy Football site, Squad God. It takes into account detailed stats such as shots on target and interceptions, as well as goals and clean sheets.
Economical Players
Player PMP
1. Martin Laursen 64.7
2. Sulley Muntari 50
3. Gael Clichy 47.4
4. Robert Green 39.5

6. Vedran Corluka 38.2
7. Christopher Samba 37.3
8. Paul Scharner 37.2
9. Titus Bramble 37 (No, this is not a mistake)
10. George McCartney 36.4
And just for the hell of it, here are 10 players you should really stay clear of:

Fantasy Football XI - Who NOT to pick

If you've not already part of some Fantasy Football league, Channel 4 started their excellent and free one at the start of the season which comes highly recommended from us. If you decide to join, don't forget to join our league (PIN 4798), and don't forget to NOT choose this team.
GK - Steven Bywater (-20 pts)
Derby's goalkeeper. Need we say anymore?
FB - Tyrone Mears (-10 pts)
Keeping with the rules of allowing only 2 players from each club, we chose Derby's lowest scoring defender with a negative 10 point score.
FB - Paul Konchesky (-7 pts)
Fulham's full-back has an annoying knack of being present whenever they concede any amount of goals. Don't touch him with a 50ft pole.
CB - Carlos Bocanegra (-7 pts)
14 goals conceded thus far, Fulham's defenders are not to be sniffed at.
CB - Michael Dawson (-3 pts)
Tottenham can't seem to keep a clean sheet to save themselves (or their manager). There are a lot of better defenders for £3.8 million out there.
MF - Kevin Nolan (2 pts)
A relatively expensive midfielder, but only one assist in 7 games and playing for the 19th placed team makes him one to stay away from.
MF - Mikel Arteta (4 pts)
Has been one of Everton's top performer's this season, but tends to play the pass before the assist is made. Being the 3rd most expensive midfielder, he ain't worth it.
MF - Ryan Giggs (2 pts)
The Utd legend has been almost ever present this season, but has taken a back seat to the impressive Nani. Coupled with some low-score wins, Giggsy has a disappointing 2 points so far.
MF - Cristiano Ronaldo (0 pts)
The most expensive midfielder has yet to score any points. He will start scoring soon, but not enough to warrant the ridiculous price tag of £7.3 million.
ST - Dimitar Berbatov (3 pts)
18th placed Spurs don't look like getting out of their rut any time soon, especially with the recent news about Martin Jol. One goal in 6 games says it all for one of the Premier League's golden boys.
ST - Andrew Johnson (4 pts)
Not even a goal to speak about from Everton's marksman. A poor return from his £6.9 million price tag, although droughts are there to be ended...
