The Liquid Football Blog Tournament is the greatest blogging tournament on Earth!
Sites from all across the footballing blogosphere compete head-to-head for the chance of ultimate footballing glory in the arena of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008!
The winner shall become showered with praise, earn infinite kudos, and gain the coveted Liquid Football Scubloggo. The losers, will be left on the bench, put on the transfer list, before finding themselves vying for a starting place at Accrington Stanley.
Are you game?
The format is simple. Each participating blog will submit a fantasy team to this tournament with 11 players (only 1 from each club), a name, strip design and tactics, which will then be created in Pro Evo 2008.
All submitted teams will then play in a league with each other every weekend, with matches being played out on an Xbox 360, by the CPU and at the end of which the winner will be declared and will be awarded a grand prize of £50! (And a nice wee trophy to boot)
The results of each week’s matches will be posted on this blog, along with an updated table, goal of the week, team of the week and so forth.
The big kick-off is just a couple of weeks away, so stay in touch with all the action right here at Liquid Football, or by subscribing to this blog's feed.
